Author Search

The author index includes names of authors, editors, compilers, illustrators, adapters, performers, producers, and directors, as well as names of issuing bodies (other than commercial publishers).

To search this index:

Step 1. Enter the name under which you wish to search.

In general, when you are searching for the name of a person enter the last name first. For example:

• shakespeare                                                      
• shakespeare, william
• angelou, maya
•  
• But...       
•  
• elizabeth II queen 
• john xxiii pope                            

Enter the names of organizations in direct order. For example:

• United States Congress
• American Medical Association

Step 2. (Optional) Choose the order in which your search results are to be displayed

Step 3. (Optional)  Reset the location limits on your search.
